About Waftr
We help companies actually understand their marketing data.
Not dashboards full of numbers that don't connect. Not attribution models held together with assumptions. Real infrastructure - where your web data, your CRM, your ad platforms, and your revenue data all talk to each other, and you can finally trust what you're looking at.
That's what we build at Waftr.
Here's the honest problem
Most marketing teams are working with data that's quietly broken.
Browsers block tracking. Ad blockers strip events. Privacy changes have chipped away at signal quality for years. And the result is that a lot of businesses are making real budget decisions - where to spend, what's working, what to cut - based on data that's missing anywhere from 30% to 60% of what actually happened.
And that's before you factor in the fact that the data you do have is usually scattered. Web behavior in GA4. Customer records in your CRM. Revenue sitting in your eCommerce platform or finance system. Ad performance split across Google, Meta, LinkedIn. Nobody designed it to work together - it just sort of ended up that way.
We fix that. Not by adding more tools, but by building the infrastructure underneath your existing stack so everything connects and the numbers finally make sense.

What we actually do
We build what we call a Marketing Data Engine - a proper data foundation that pulls together every signal your business generates and puts it somewhere you can actually use it.
That means moving your tracking server-side so browser restrictions and ad blockers stop eating your data. It means connecting GA4 to BigQuery so you're working with real, unsampled data instead of estimates. It means stitching your web behavior to your CRM records and transaction data so you can see the full picture from first click to closed deal to repeat purchase.
It also means making sure your ad platforms are working with the best data possible. We implement server-side conversion APIs for Google Ads, Meta (CAPI), LinkedIn, and others - which means better match rates, smarter bidding, and ad spend that actually performs the way it should.
We also work with server log files, which most teams never look at. Analyzing those logs shows us exactly how search engines and AI crawlers are moving through your site - what they're finding, what they're missing, and where your content visibility has quiet gaps that no standard tool would surface.
On top of all of that, we use Vertex AI to add a predictive layer - audience modeling, churn forecasting, lifetime value prediction - so your data engine isn't just telling you what happened, it's helping you see what's coming.

Why we call it Data Sovereignty
Because we've seen what happens when companies don't own their data layer.
A platform changes its policy. A cookie gets deprecated. A vendor raises prices or sunsets a product. And suddenly the entire marketing intelligence function is disrupted - because it was built on someone else's infrastructure.
Everything we build lives in your environment. Your BigQuery. Your GTM. Your data, governed by your rules. That's not a technical detail - it's a strategic advantage that compounds over time.

How we work with clients
We offer four structured tiers - Foundation, Growth, Enterprise, and E-Commerce - so there's a defined starting point depending on where you are. Each one is built to grow with you, and every engagement includes ongoing support so your data infrastructure keeps pace as platforms shift and your business evolves.
We keep our client roster deliberately small. We'd rather do this well for a focused group of companies than spread thin across dozens of engagements.

Is this for you?
If your team is making decisions on data you don't fully trust, running ad spend through platforms with poor signal quality, or trying to connect dots between systems that were never designed to talk to each other - this is probably worth a conversation.
We're not here to sell a retainer. We're here to build something that actually works for you long-term.

How we got here
Waftr started in 2013 as a tech blog. Then a YouTube channel. It was genuine curiosity, not a business plan.
Over time, the marketing data problem kept coming up. Clients we worked with on other things kept running into the same wall - fragmented data, lost signal, no clear way to connect what they were spending to what they were earning. The solutions that existed were either too generic or required a full internal data engineering team to maintain.
So we built something better. Waftr today is what happens when years of hands-on technical experience meets a specific, stubborn problem that most agencies aren't equipped to solve.
If you want to talk about what this looks like for your business, we're easy to reach.
