  1. Open the Snapchat app. As soon as you open it, you will be directed to the Camera Screen where you can actually take pictures and videos.
  2. On the bottom left corner, choose Chats. This is the chats list screen which lets you send photos/snaps to your friends.

  3. Once the chat screen appears with all the open chats, look for the friend that you are trying to delete from your list.

  4. Press and Hold on that chat name. This will open up a mini list with options.


  5. Choose More from the list. This will open up another list with more options.


  6. The options to delete friends will be highlighted in Red. Choose Remove Friend.
  7. In the popup that appears, choose Remove or cancel if you changed your mind and have decided to give this friend another chance for good.

Steps to Delete Friends on Snapchat on Android Phone

Also, the following steps are similar whether it is the Android version or iOS version of Snapchat.

  • Log in to your Snapchat with the user credentials.
  • This will lead you to all – familiar camera view of the platform, ready to click snaps.
  • Click on the ‘Friends’ option that appears on the bottom left of the screen.
  • You will be redirected to a screen with a list of your friends. Long tap on the friend you want to delete.

How to Block friends on Snapchat on iPhone

Unlike removing friends, When you block a friend, they won’t be able to view your Story or send you Snaps or Chats.

To block a friend in Snapchat, its basically the same steps as remove a friend, but choose Block instead of Remove Friend.

  1. Go to Chats screen by tapping on the bottom left corner.
  2. Press and Hold the chat of contact you would like to block.
  3. When the menu appears, choose More from the options.
  4. Tap on Block from the popup highlighted as red.

And when this popup appears choose Block or Cancel if you changed your mind by giving a chance. I am definitely not giving my friend Finny a chance.
