Step-By-Step Guide to delete Telegram account in 2020:
Step 1: Open your Telegram account either from your smart-phone or Desktop and open the deactivation page, the link is provided: https://my.telegram.org/auth?to=deactivate because Telegram doesn’t allow deleting account directly through the application.
Step 2: In the page that appears, you will need to enter the phone number associated with your Telegram account which needs to be deleted. The phone number has to be entered with the country code beginning with a ‘+’.
Step 3: As soon as the ‘Next’ button is clicked, a message will appear in the app installed on your mobile with the code.
Step 4: Enter the confirmation code in the web – page opened earlier and click on ‘Next’.
Step 5: Now on the Telegram page gives you three options:

Click on the “Delete account”.
Step 6: Telegram will provide a prompt stating that once the account is deleted, all contact information, messages will be lost and there is no way to retrieve them. If you are fine with the warning, you can click on the ‘Delete My Account’ button in blue.
